Event description:

Claudia Malloy, Advocacy Director at the Center for Science in the Public Interest, will speak on the power of connecting with Midwest conservatives to promote conservation.  She will also speak about her experience fighting  the Keystone XL Pipeline.

Claudia Malloy leads CSPI’s program and grassroots strategies for national, state, and local policies and corporate campaigns. She supports and strengthens partnerships and mobilizes organizations, health professionals, and the public to build momentum for food and nutrition policies, especially in historically disenfranchised communities that experience health disparities and are disproportionately targeted by unhealthy beverage and food marketing. Claudia has a 30-year career as a nonprofit leader, including directing environmental advocacy at the National Wildlife Federation immediately prior to her current position.

Ms. Malloy will be introduced by Joshua Low, Director of Partnerships, Yale Program on Climate Change Communication.  Moderated by Tom Murray ’23, Speaker Coordinator, Yale Center for Environmental Communication.
