Torrey Advisory Group Summer Internships

Torrey Advisory Group, a boutique Capitol Hill lobbying firm with a primary focus on food and agriculture, is seeking rising juniors and seniors in college with an interest in agricultural policy for its internship program in Washington, DC. The ideal intern will bring an enthusiasm for learning, a strong work ethic, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. This paid position will interact with the firm's other team members to provide support on various legislative and communications projects.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring relevant legislative, regulatory, and political issues
• Attending hearings, markups, briefings, and other meetings as needed
• Researching issues and drafting issue briefs and content for client communications
• Assisting staff with coalition maintenance
• Interacting with clients professionally
• Assisting with office projects

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to learn and work independently and proactively
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
