Planetary Solutions in Clean Energy: Summer Internship and Fellowship Program

March 7, 2023

Do you believe clean energy can advance racial, economic, and environmental justice? We do too!

The Yale Center for Business and the Environment is accepting applications for the next cohort of their Planetary Solutions in Clean Energy summer internship/fellowship program. This program offers summer internship and research opportunities to students at Yale who are committed to advancing energy equity and pursuing a career in the clean energy field.

Selected students will each receive a $10,000 stipend for the summer, receive supervision and guidance, and share and learn from peers in weekly meetings as a cohort. This cohort will be led by Rob Klee, Yale lecturer and former Commissioner of the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.

These opportunities will focus on energy justice, scalable decarbonization innovations, municipalities, and sub-national actors moving on climate change solutions, or beyond.  CBEY has partnered with the following non-profit, low-profit, and governmental organizations that are committed to energy equity and the investment in and deployment of clean energy into low- and middle-income communities.

Note:

  • This program supports a total of eight (8) interns/fellows for the summer period.
  • Students with financial need and those who are under-represented in the field of clean energy are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • These opportunities are open to returning Yale students. Graduating students are not eligible.

Application deadline is March 27th | Learn more here
