Event description:

Yale Environmental Humanities will kick off the fall semester with a Welcome Panel on Friday, September 10th at 4:00pm EST. Yale faculty members in the humanities will present briefly on their work as it relates to land, waters, and other built or natural environments, and human interactions with them.  Faculty panelists include Jonathan Howard (English, African American Studies); Jill Jarvis (French); Gerald Torres (YSE, Law); and Jane Tylus (Italian, Comparative Literature). The event will be held outdoors under the event tent in the HQ Courtyard. Due to Covid restrictions, we are limiting in-person attendance to 50 people from the Yale Community. Once we have reached this limit, we will close the in-person option on the registration form, and we ask that you tune into the live stream. Following the panel, there will be a small outdoor reception.
