Drop in to the Zoom call between 2-3 pm on Feb 16th and bring your questions about the Summer Experience Award (SEA).

Note: You must log in to Yale Career Link to obtain the Zoom link. You are welcome to have your camera on or off for this session.

To be eligible for the SEA, you must be a first-year, sophomore or junior in Yale College on financial aid who has not previously used the SEA (or the DSA).

You must secure your experience in advance. You can find opportunities in Yale Career Link, through your own search, or by actively targeting organizations you are interested in.

An eligible experience is:

A US-Based Experience: A stipend of $4,000 for a secured, approved unpaid or underfunded ($1500 or less) summer opportunity with one of the following: 501(c)(3) nonprofit including non-profit Universities; government entity including public Universities; non-governmental organization (NGO); Arts Apprenticeship; or Science, Laboratory, or Other Research Opportunity.

Or

An International Experience: A stipend of $6,000 for a secured, approved unpaid or underfunded ($1500 or less) summer opportunity abroad with one of the following: nonprofit organization including non-profit Universities; for-profit company; government entity including public Universities; non-governmental organization (NGO); Arts Apprenticeship; or Science, Laboratory, or Other Research Opportunity.
