October 6, 2023

The Environmental Studies Program series on Climate Action started this week with a talk by Anya Kamenetz.  Anya shared her reflections on learning in the age of climate change and how to transform anxiety into action. Her visit started with a lecture at Burke Auditorium. Later in the afternoon, Anya answered questions on climate anxiety, mental health, education and the fundamental right to joy during a college tea in Berkeley College, moderated by Head of College David Evans.  The event was co-sponsored by EVST, Yale Poynter Fellowship in Journalism, and the Yale Student Environmental Coalition.
