Essay Abstract:
This thesis explores consumer perceptions and behaviors concerning sustainable agriculture,
with a focus on identifying key factors that influence individual attitudes and decision-making
processes. Utilizing a dual approach comprising a comprehensive literature review and a
survey-based methodology, the study delves into the depth of consumer awareness regarding
sustainable agricultural practices. By juxtaposing survey findings with existing literature, the
research unveils noteworthy correlations and insights. The study reveals a discernible uptrend in
consumer awareness regarding environmental ramifications, signifying the heightened
importance of sustainability considerations in decision-making paradigms. A dedicated section is
included to explain the benefits of sustainable agriculture to persuade individuals effectively. The
findings highlight the complexity of individual beliefs and contextual dynamics, all of which
exert significant influence on consumer behavior towards sustainable agriculture.
