Dr. Freidenburg is the EVST Associate Director of Undergraduate Studies, BS Program and Lecturer at YSE. She is an ecologist who conducts research in freshwater ecosystems with a particular focus on amphibians. Dr. Freidenburg teaches courses that incorporate ecology, conservation, and a field-based approach to learning. Her current focus is centered on understanding how suburban landscapes and associated land use impact amphibian populations.
In 2022-2023 Dr. Freidenburg will teach EVST 234L Field Science: Environment and Sustainability, EVST 323 Wetlands Ecology, Conservation & Management, and EVST 496 Senior Research Project and Colloquium.
