Quinn is a senior in Morse College working toward a B.S. in EVST with a concentration in Biodiversity and Conservation. His on-campus research implements evolutionary quantitative genetics to uncover the genetic bases of trait differences between species of monkeyflowers, and he spent the summer of 2023 conducting additional field research on sagebrush plant community resilience with the Yale School of the Environment. A longtime Coloradan, Quinn has a deep love for the outdoors and spent a gap year before college working in food systems with Huerta Urbana, an earn-while-you-learn urban agriculture training program in Denver. He has been a part of many singing groups throughout his time at Yale, including the Yale Alley Cats, the Glee Club, Repertory Chorus, Marquand Chapel Choir, and others. On the weekends, you’ll find him seeing concerts on campus, weaving in the Morse Fabric Arts Studio, doing architectural sketches, or planning his next hiking trip. He can’t wait to meet everyone and talk about the many forms an EVST experience can take!
