EVST BS '25, Environmental Justice

Sarah (she/her) is pursuing a BS in Environmental Studies with a concentration in environmental justice. She is a Human Rights Scholar with certificates in Data Science and Chinese and an incoming 5-year BS/MPP student at the Yale Jackson School of Global Affairs, where she hopes to delve more into international climate justice and geopolitics. This past year, she has supported the Asian Environmental Compliance and Enforcement Network (AECEN) on plastic treaty negotiations efforts and attended INC-4 negotiations this past April. At Yale, she has studied abroad in Taiwan as a Light Fellow, been a data researcher with the 2024 Environmental Performance Index, and worked as Research & Policy Intern at the Environmental Law Institute this past summer. On campus, she has served as the President of GREEN, Musical Director (Pitch) of Proof of the Pudding, researcher with the Yale Policy Institute’s Energy & Environment Center, member of the Asian American Students’ Alliance, and will be a site coordinator for VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) this year. To unwind from all of the above, you can find her with Yale Taekwondo aspiring towards a black belt, going on (food) explorations of New Haven via running, and playing piano in the Saybrook practice room!
