Yale/Pulitzer Fellowship for Climate Reporting - Presentation & Info Session
This event has passed.
On Tuesday, January 20th at noon, please join Zaya Delgerjargal (YSE '25), the 2024 Yale/Pulitzer Climate Reporting Fellow for a screening of her award-winning short documentary "Herders at the Edge" - winner of the 2025 Covering Climate Now’s “Climate in every beat” Journalism Award, Best Short Documentary at the NYC Climate Film Festival, and others. The film explores the climate crisis through the eyes of nomadic herders, highlighting both resilience and vulnerability in the face of unprecedented change. It is the only climate change documentary in Mongolia that is directed by a Mongolian filmmaker. Zaya will discuss the making of the film and how to create engaging climate stories. Eric Fine from the Yale Program on Climate Change Communication will explain the 2026 Yale/Pulitzer Climate Reporting Fellowship and how to apply (applications due Feb. 8). The fellowship is open to all Yale undergraduate and graduate students including those graduating in May 2026.
