Emma is pursuing certificates in Advanced Spanish Language and Energy Studies alongside her EVST degree. With a concentration in environmental policy, she has specific interests in climate change communications, environmental policy, and community-based solutions. Emma currently works as a communications assistant at CBEY and is a former co-president of YSEC, the Yale Student Environmental Coalition. Through the Summer Environmental Fellowship, Dwight Hall Summer Fellowship, Women in Government Fellowship, and Summer Experience Award, Emma has worked at the NOAA Climate Program Office as a communications intern, as well as Haven’s Harvest, a New Haven-based nonprofit focused on food systems. In the past year, Emma has also attended COP28 as a member of the Yale delegation and partner of the Southern Environmental Law Center. A member of Branford College, Emma loves reading, running, Willoughby’s, and spotting squirrels in the courtyard. She also loves to travel and has studied abroad at Yale, so feel free to ask about these things as well!
