Emma is pursuing certificates in Advanced Spanish Language(Link is external) and Energy Studies(Link is external) alongside her EVST degree. With a concentration in environmental policy, she has specific interests in climate change communications, environmental policy, and community-based solutions. Emma currently works as a communications assistant at CBEY(Link is external) and is a former co-president of YSEC(Link is external), the Yale Student Environmental Coalition. Through the Summer Environmental Fellowship, Dwight Hall Summer Fellowship(Link is external), Women in Government Fellowship(Link is external), and Summer Experience Award(Link is external), Emma has worked at the NOAA Climate Program Office as a communications intern, as well as Haven’s Harvest, a New Haven-based nonprofit focused on food systems. In the past year, Emma has also attended COP28 as a member of the Yale delegation and partner of the Southern Environmental Law Center. A member of Branford College, Emma loves reading, running, Willoughby’s, and spotting squirrels in the courtyard.
